We are happy to announce that the River Valley Community Chess Association (RVCCA), with help from the River Valley High School Chess Club, will be sponsoring a stretch of highway in the River Valley.

The stretch of highway is on WI HWY 23 from Spring Green to the Wisconsin River heading towards Taliesin.

Let us know if you are interested in helping out or have other ideas for our organization to reach out to the community.   - contactrvcca@gmail.com -

What is the Adopt-A-Highway program?
*The Wisconsin Department of Transportation initiated the Adopt- A-Highway program to allow groups to volunteer and support the state's anti-litter program in a more direct way.

What does an Adopt-A-Highway group do?
*Each qualified group takes responsibility for litter control on approximately a two mile segment of state highway.

The group picks up litter on this segment at least three times per year between April 1 and November 1.

Groups do not work in dangerous areas like medians, bridges, or steep slopes.
